NEW APIS Requirements for G.A.

APIS (Advance Passenger Information Systems)
has new procedures. Procedures are effective for both
preclearance and non-preclearance flights.

• Voluntary beginning December 18, 2008, permanently in effect May 18, 2009.
• From St. Thomas, APIS is required for all general aviation aircraft departing the U.S. Virgin Islands. You will have already completed the arrival APIS.
• The following information is required sixty (60) minutes prior to departure:
• Aircraft type, make, model and registration number.
• Passenger manifest information for each individual traveling on board the aircraft.
• Notice of departure information.
